In general, chiftelele sunt prajite in ulei incins pana devin aurii si fragede dupa ce sunt formate, dar in unele zone ale tarii sunt, de asemenea, coapte la cuptor sau fierte intr-un sos de rosii pentru a-si accentua gustul si a deveni mai suculente.

- 1 kg of minced pork or mixed with beef
- two eggs
- two medium onions finely chopped
- a medium-sized carrot grated or finely chopped
- a thick slice of bread soaked in water beforehand
- flour
- 25g seasoning for meatballs.
